Senior Accountant
Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned Accountant to take up the role of a Senior Accountant in a company operating in the music space. The ideal candidate will ensure the financial integrity and stability of the organisation while managing a team.
Key responsibilities
Accurately report on the financial performance and position of the organisation
Ensure the integrity of financial operations and reporting, not limited to the implementation of approved financial and other controls
Cost management
Ensure the statutory compliance of the organisation (taxes, audits, CISAC, etc)
Risk management includes fraud mitigation
Lead the finance operational department
Minimum requirements
Minimum NQF 8 accounting qualification
5 years proven work experience leading a finance team/ department
IFRS knowledge
Computer skills (Excel skills must be at an intermediate level. Sage experience is beneficial)
