About the Role
We are seeking a
Senior Accountant
with5 years accounting experience
to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience withMicrosoft Dynamics
, strong technical accounting skills, and the ability to work independently while mentoring junior staff.Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly management accounts. Perform reconciliations, journals, and adjustments. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Prepare annual financial statements in line with IFRS/GAAP. Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.
Requirements
Accounting degree or equivalent qualification. SAIPA or CIMA professional designation.
5 years' experience
in a general accounting role. Proficiency inMicrosoft Dynamics
and MS Office (Excel, Word). Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and organisational skills.Job Type: Permanent
Pay: R30000,00 - R40000,00 per month
