Senior Accountant
Job Description
A well-established organization within the healthcare space is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to take full ownership of the finance function. This role is ideal for a BCom-qualified professional with strong month-end exposure who enjoys hands-on involvement across reporting, payroll, inventory, and operational finance.
You will play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity, supporting management decision-making, and maintaining tight control over core accounting processes. Exposure to stock and inventory will be highly advantageous in this environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full finance function, including payroll, trial balance, and reporting
- Month-end close, invoicing, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Stock and inventory accounting (preferred)
- Preparation and review of management reports
- Ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely financial processing
- Support operational and business reporting requirements
- Qualification: BCom (Honours preferred)
- Experience: 5-10 years accounting experience
- Technical: Strong trial balance, payroll, reconciliations, and reporting skills
- Advantageous: Stock / inventory exposure
