We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Accountant

to manage and oversee our financial data, compliance, and reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, preparing reports, maintaining general ledgers, and supporting budgeting

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports for accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close processes Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper account classification Assist with budget preparation and financial planning Monitor and improve financial procedures and internal controls Analyse financial data and provide insights or recommendations to management Travel Between our Branches (CT - JNB) Manage and Recon inter company transactions Prepare Monthly Management accountants

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Proven experience as an accountant Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations Proficiency in SAGE accounting software and MS Excel Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Good communication and interpersonal skills

Work Environment:

Full-time position, Monday through Saturday. Will require occasional extended hours during financial closing periods and month end.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R25000,00 - R50000,00 per month
