Role Description
To provide compliant financial support to the business unit and provide accurate and timeous data facilitating responsive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Cash Flow & Banking
:Monitor daily balances, report cash flow, and ensure operational funds.Financial Reporting:
Maintain journals, prepare monthly reports by the 8th working day, and ensure compliance.Debtors & Creditors:
Weekly follow-ups, track metrics, report deviations.Payments & Reconciliations:
Process weekly payments, reconcile petty cash/cards, and ensure statutory and payroll payments.Budgeting:
Assist with annual budgets and monitor spend.Compliance & Audit
: Maintain asset registers, respond to audit queries promptly, and achieve unqualified audits.Team Leadership
: Oversee performance, resolve issues, foster positive culture.Process Improvement
: Suggest efficiency improvements annually, stay updated on regulations.Stakeholder Communication
: Respond to queries from management, clients, and employees.Minimum requirements
+5 years Billing / Finance / Accounting experience. NQF Level 7 Finance Related Qualification
