Senior Accountant
Job Description
Seeking an analytical and results-oriented Senior Accountant with over 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector. Skilled in financial reporting, compliance, inventory management, and cost accounting with a strong understanding of the regulatory and operational complexities unique to pharma. Proven track record of supporting audits, managing multi site financial operations, and ensuring financial accuracy in fast paced, quality driven environments. Passionate about driving financial integrity in companies that make a meaningful difference in global health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting
- Month-end and year-end close
- Budgeting & forecasting
- General ledger (GL) management accounts
- Payable & receivable oversight
- Tax & compliance
- Inventory & cost accounting
- ERP System Management:
- Work with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, and NetSuite.
- Maintain data integrity and support system upgrades or improvements.
- Automate and streamline financial processes where possible.
- Support strategic decisions through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
- Recommend improvements to financial processes and internal controls.
