Duties:

• Prepare and manage monthly and quarterly reports in line with business and audit requirements.
• Support audit and tax pack preparations, reporting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, manage inventory accounting, and attend stock counts.
• Handle corporate income tax, HST, GST, PAYE calculations, and liaise with tax advisors.
• Compile annual financial statements under IFRS; support implementation of audit findings.
• Partner with manufacturing operations to validate cost allocations and budget planning.
• Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting in Vena and D365 ERP systems.
• Support operational teams with financial coaching and performance analysis.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom or BCom Honours in Accounting or equivalent.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in financial management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in people management.
• 2 years of post-articles experience in a similar role.
• Multinational/multi-currency environment experience is advantageous.
• Previous experience in mining or manufacturing sectors is desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

• Advanced financial reporting, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS, tax, and compliance.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation capabilities.
• Business acumen, project management, and customer focus.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Comfortable operating within fast-paced and cross-functional teams.
