Job Description
Client based in Montague Gardens is looking to employ a Senior Accountant. Your responsiblities will include analysing management accounts, reviewing SARS enquiries, verifying compliance and liaising with the Financial Director regarding daily operational requirements. Responsibilities:
- Analyse management accounts as well as supporting schedules
- Analyse balance sheet items and recons
- Regular audit of fixed asset registers
- Check prepared audit files
- Check prepared Budgets for all entities within the group
- Review VAT201, EMP201, SARS enquiries
- Put together provisional tax calculations for all companies within the group
- Put together EE plans, review previous plans and reports
- Schedule and lead EE committee meetings
- Verify compliance with Companies Act in terms of Social and Ethics requirements
- Put together monthly, quarterly and annual rebate and adverting calculations
- Update sales reports and manage the server (DevExpress)
- Extract data from SQL database, review and report to Financial Director
- Liaise with Financial Director regarding daily operations and requirements
- Qualification: Relevent Finance qualification
- Must have 5 - 10 years experience
- Must have advanced excel skills
