To manage the creditors payment and provide support to all Municipal departments and associted companies. To ensure that the Accounts Payable Department has and maintains effective, efficient and transparent systems of financial management and controls operating in accordance with prescribed norms and polices to guard agaisnt fraud, theft and financial mismanagement. To manage the activitis of th Accounts Payable section in terms of the Municipal Financial Management Act(MFMA).
Key Responsibility AreasSupervises and controls the activities of the Accounts Payable office.Manages and monitors perforamnce of staff.Disseminates functional and operational infromation on the immeditae, short and long-term objectives and current applications and constraints.Conducts the administrative and reporting requirements assocaited with the key performance and result indicators of the area of responsibility.
