Job Summary
Hire Resolve's client is a well-established company based in Gauteng seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports
Ensure compliance with IFRS and all relevant financial regulations
Oversee general ledger functions and maintain accurate financial records
Support the budgeting and forecasting processes
Assist with internal and external audits
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Supervise junior finance staff and provide mentorship where required
Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors and tax consultants
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional qualification (e.g., SAIPA/SAICA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred
Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Pastel, Xero, or SAP)
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Strong communication and leadership abilities
