Duties:

• Performing monthly reconciliation of balance sheets
• Contributing to the preparation of annual budgets
• Providing inputs for the weekly cash-flow forecast concerning expenses
• Supporting the audit of sales representative expense claims by cross-referencing to supporting data
• Assisting in processing intercompany recharge journals
• Updating entities' bank balances daily and compiling daily bank reconciliations
• Capturing day-to-day financial transactions, including verification, classification, posting, and recording of accounts payables and other ledger data
• Ensuring the accuracy of reported financial results by assisting with management account inputs, budgets, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Handling the processing of stock receipts (GRVs) and addressing relevant stock queries on a regular basis

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting
• BCom Honours
• CA(SA) / CIMA

Experience:

• Completed SAICA Articles within a well-recognized audit firm
• 1 xe2x80x93 2 years post articles working experience
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
• Advanced Excel
• Knowledge of Pastel/similar accounting system advantageous

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong analytical skills
• Have strong understanding of accounting principles
• Pay extra attention to detail
• Have great communication skills
