Senior Accountant (6 Month Contract)

Job Description
An established organisation in the mining and construction sector is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant for a 6-month contract role.
This position can become permanent and requires a results-driven finance professional with strong technical expertise and exceptional reporting skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse financial statements and management reports
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide actionable insights
- Manage month-end processes and ensure reporting accuracy
- Develop high-quality financial presentations for management
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes
- CA(SA) with minimum 3 years' post-articles experience in mining OR
- BCom Honours in Accounting/Finance with 5-7 years' relevant experience
- Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint presentation skills
- Experience in mining, construction, or similar capital-intensive industries preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
