What you'll do
Grow revenue, GP, and active customers across your portfolio.
Build strategic relationships with VARs, MSPs, and project-based resellers.
Drive brand penetration across Syntech's premium portfolio.
Identify and close project opportunities, tenders, and rollouts.
Deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Work closely with Product, Internal Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams.

Minimum Requirements
4 years ICT channel sales experience as an Account Manager.
ICT Distribution experience is a huge plus
Strong understanding of IT hardware, networking, IoT, components, and power.
Proven ability to hit sales targets.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
High levels of professionalism, integrity, and hunger for growth.
You must have your own reliable vehicle and valid drivers licence
Duties and Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Delivery
Deliver monthly/quarterly/annual GP and revenue targets.
Grow wallet share within assigned VAR/MSP accounts.
Identify and convert project opportunities, RFPs, tenders, and rollouts.
Ensure accounts meet or exceed active reseller criteria.
Drive strategic brand penetration (Gizzu, Ugreen, Crucial, PCBUILDER, WINX, Port, etc.).
Account Development
Maintain structured coverage of assigned KZN VAR/MSP portfolio.
Conduct weekly touchpoints: customer visits, calls, virtual reviews.
Create and execute detailed account development plans.
Provide product insights, new range introductions, and solution positioning.
Customer Experience
Build trusted advisor relationships with procurement, technical, and leadership stakeholders.
Deliver outstanding support and communication.
Provide training on new products and technologies.
Escalate challenges with honourable candour.
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with Internal Sales for efficient order processing and quoting.
Partner with Product Managers for stock, pricing, training, and brand strategies.
Engage Marketing for campaigns, sell-through, and customer activations.
Collaborate with Finance on credit control and account risk management.
Reporting & Administration
Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline, and forecast.
Submit weekly activity and forecast reports.
Monitor performance via Fincon, ClicData, and internal dashboards.
