The Opportunity
We're seeking a Senior Account Manager who thrives in a client management role. You'll build and own your client portfolio like a mini-CEO driving growth through strategic advisory, upsell and exceptional relationship management.
This role rewards excellence with uncapped earning potential. You'll work directly with our CEO and collaborate with our 10+ person execution team of media buyers, developers, and creatives to deliver exceptional results for eCommerce brands.
What You'll Do
Client Portfolio Management
Lead weekly/bi-weekly strategic sessions with clients, advising on growth initiatives
Delegate execution to our backend specialists and ensure seamless delivery
Present performance reports showcasing ROI and strategic recommendations
Identify and capture expansion opportunities within your portfolio
Strategic Leadership
Serve as the trusted advisor for your clients' digital growth
Drive retention through exceptional service and strategic value
Target managing 12-20 clients at scale with backend team support + ads to get you calls/clients.
What You BringEssential Experience
5-12 years in digital marketing agencies
3-5 years experience as an account manager with internal clients from USA in an agency.
Deep understanding of eCommerce and digital marketing fundamentals
Technical Knowledge (Advisory Level only)
Meta/Google/TikTok advertising platforms
Email marketing automation (Klaviyo experience preferred)
Website conversion optimization
Analytics and performance tracking
Business strategy and P&L understanding
Core Competencies
Exceptional English communication with executive presence
High EQ and ability to quickly understand diverse business models
Comfort with difficult conversations and managing expectations
Self-motivated with strong performance orientation
Available for 6 hours overlap with US EST timezone
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field
Platform certifications (Google Ads, Meta Blueprint)
Experience with Asana, Slack, and Google Workspace
Compensation Structure
Base Salary:
R36,000 per month (R432,000 annually / $24,000 USD)
