Semi Skilled Welder / Boiler Maker

Job Description
Your primary responsibility will be to produce components by way of reading technical drawings and using the appropriate welding equipment to assemble parts to specification.
Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of metal work, drawings, equipment, materials, and tools. Excellent work attendance and disciplinary record. Basic computer skills. Own reliable transport.
Duties and responsibilities:
Reading technical drawings and taking measurements to plan layout and procedures. Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements. Setting up components for welding according to specifications. Query discrepancies of any drawing. Produce components by assembling parts and subcomponents. Uses hand / power tools and machines to assemble parts. Conduct quality control checks. Verifies specifications by measuring completed component. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with standard operating procedures. Document actions by completing production and quality forms. Timeous processing of job orders.
