Rail Infrastructure & Energy Specialist
Job Description
Applicants must have the following requirements:
Must have a Master’s Degree in Engineering.
Must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer.
Must have 15 years of experience in Infrastructure and Energy projects, including high and medium voltage transmission, distribution, substations and SSEG.
Must have knowledge of various construction framework contracts.
Must have knowledge of Rail and the applicable Energy sector for both heavy haulage or freight and passenger rail sectors, rail safety and rail operations.
Must have knowledge in Energy system design, like OHTE, Transmission and sub-stations.
Must have knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Helioscope, and HomerPro.
Must have knowledge of main energy consumers in the rail sector, condition assessments and remaining useful Life calculations (RUL).
Must have knowledge of basic financial analysis and modelling.
