Security Systems & Automation Technician
Job Description
Job Summary Our client seeks a Security/CCTV Alarm Technician for installations, service callouts, and maintenance. You must excel in fault-finding, surveillance, and networking. Candidates with experience in alarms, access control, electric fencing, gate motors, and welding will be prioritized. Key Responsibilities: CCTV & Networking - Install, maintain, and configure IP-based systems, video analytics, and internet connections. Strong IT and networking skills required. Fibre splicing is advantageous. - Alarm Systems - Install wired/wireless alarms, troubleshoot faults, and program systems. - Access Control & Gate Motors - Install and maintain fingerprint readers, facial recognition, boom barriers, turnstiles, gate automation, and motors. Configure software and door controllers. - Electric Fencing & Welding - Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fencing systems. Perform welding for security installations when required. Requirements: * Min. 5 years' experience in CCTV, IT & networking * Fluent in Afrikaans & English * Excellent written & verbal communication * Valid Driver's License & Own Vehicle (Non-Negotiable) * Must work within strict timelines * Traceable references
