Security Supervisor/ Manager

Job Description
The Supervisor/Manager will oversee daily security operations, manage personnel, ensure compliance with safety protocols and coordinate with clients and law enforcement.
This role requires strategic oversight, leadership and operational excellence to maintain high standards of security service delivery.
- Lead and supervise security teams across multiple sites.
- Develop and implement site-specific security plans and protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits and performance evaluations.
- Liaise with clients, law enforcement and emergency services.
- Manage incident response, reporting and investigations.
- Ensure compliance with PSIRA regulations and company policies.
- Train and mentor junior staff and ensure skills development.
- Maintain accurate records of shifts, incidents and disciplinary actions.
- SA Citizen.
- Clean Criminal Record.
- Matric / Grade 12 Certificate.
- PSIRA Grade B (minimum), Grade A preferred.
- 5+ years in the security industry of which 2+ years should have been in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience managing large teams and multiple sites.
- Valid competency certificate for firearms.
- Valid firearm license.
- Dog-handling certification or proven experience.
- Valid drivers license.
- Control room or tactical response experience is advantageous.
- CCTV and alarm monitoring systems.
- Guard patrol tracking systems.
