We are currently seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team in Western Cape. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. This is a permanent position with full-time hours.
Job Duties:
---------------
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to maintain a secure environment Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems Respond to emergencies and alarms promptly Enforce company security policies and procedures Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities Provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed
Required Qualifications:
----------------------------
Valid Security Officer licence Excellent communication skills Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally Physical fitness and ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Education:
--------------
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
---------------
Prior experience in a security-related role preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
-------------------------
Knowledge of security operations and procedures Ability to use surveillance systems and equipment Good judgement and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications:

First Aid/CPR certification Additional security training or certifications
Working Conditions:

Full-time position with expected work hours May require working evenings, weekends, and holidays Exposure to various weather conditions * Potential for physical confrontations with individuals
