Security Officer
Job Description
Ensure that no unauthorized goods are allowed to leave or enter the premises
Have a full working knowledge of all security equipment in use i.e., hand held metal detectors, walkie talkies, Bag Scanners, Bank Doors etc.
Ensure that any suspicious circumstances/persons are immediately reported to the Manager on shift
Deal with all fire arms/dangerous weapons in accordance with the company's operating procedures
Search/scan all customers in accordance with the company's operating procedures
Immediately report any deficiencies in the car park operation, i.e. lights not working
Alert and in good physical health
Excellent communication skills
Monitor and protect property against criminal activity and damage
Calm courteous and professional
