GENERAL PURPOSE

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our organization, employees, and assets. To ensure that students and staff are secured in all buildings.The Security Manager will develop and implement security policies, procedures, and programs to maintain a secure and compliant environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparation of Company Annual Financial statements Develop and implement security policies and procedures to safeguard the organization's personnel, assets, and information. Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate risks. Manage access control systems and monitor security cameras to ensure a safe and secure environment. Collaborate with other departments to create and implement emergency response plans and procedures. Conduct security awareness training for employees and promote a culture of security and compliance. Investigate security incidents, prepare incident reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies and other security professionals to stay informed about industry best practices and emerging threats. Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and trends to continuously improve the organization's security posture. Manage security personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Respond to security incidents and emergencies, providing leadership and coordination as needed.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field. PSIRA Grade A Certification (essential). Relevant certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent are a plus.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a security management role, preferably in a residential or property management environment. Proven experience in managing security contracts and service providers. Sound knowledge of physical security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control, etc.). Familiarity with Health & Safety and emergency response procedures. Valid driver's license.
