Our client, a leading hotel group in KwaZulu-Natal, is recruiting experienced and graded Hotel Security Guards to join their team. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary of R6,000 - R7,000 per month, depending on experience and PSIRA grading. The role involves working at luxury hotels across Durban and the greater KZN region, ensuring guest safety and protecting hotel property.
Description
We are looking for PSIRA-certified Security Guards with hospitality or commercial experience who can provide professional and reliable protection services in a hotel environment. You will be responsible for monitoring access control, patrolling the premises, responding to incidents, and assisting guests when needed. This position requires vigilance, professionalism, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol hotel grounds to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and access control systems.
• Prevent unauthorised entry and handle security breaches effectively.
• Respond quickly and professionally to emergencies or incidents.
• Write accurate daily reports and maintain security logs.
• Provide assistance to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Support hotel management in enforcing safety and security policies.

Minimum Requirements

• PSIRA Grade C or higher certification (essential).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in security, preferably in the hospitality sector.
• Excellent observation and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Must be reliable, disciplined, and guest-service oriented.
