About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Security Branch Manager to lead our Cape Town branch operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing a branch or running their own business within the security or solar industry, demonstrating strong leadership, business acumen, and technical expertise in security systems and electrical installations.
This role combines operational management, business development, and team leadership -- ideal for a hands-on manager who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Cape Town branch to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales, technical, and support staff.
  • Develop and implement business strategies, budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
  • Drive sales growth through new business development and client relationship management.
  • Manage branch financial performance, including budget control, revenue forecasting, and cost management.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and servicing of security and surveillance systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Liaise with head office and report on branch performance, KPIs, and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide technical and operational guidance on systems such as Dahua, Hikvision, and Axis.
  • Conduct site visits and support key clients when needed.
Minimum Requirements
  • Matric / Grade 12.
  • Relevant Electrical Qualification (N3/N4, Trade Test, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the security or solar industry, including at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Proven experience in branch management, business operations, or running own company.
  • Strong technical understanding of Dahua, Hikvision, and Axis central systems.
  • Experience with electric fencing, CCTV, and access control systems.
  • Sound understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Valid Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
