Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To operate and take responsibility for the start-ups and normal operations of sections and equipment, maintaining highest SHREQ standards. The incumbent will be responsible and accountable for a particular section allocated to him/her.
QUALIFICATION(S) & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
:Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications:
Grade 12 (Std 10) or N3 with Mathematics and
Physical science
Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year plant relevant process experience and knowledge
Ideal Requirements:
Computer literate on Foskor maintenance system, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Certificate in Production/operations and Productivity Management
Ideal Experience:
Minimum 18 months and more plant relevant process experience /knowledge
HEADLINE KEY RESULT AREAS:
Ensure efficient shift handovers Establish process start-up conditions Maintain section and equipment within parameters Ensure effective communication of equipment condition Ensure effective response to abnormal process conditions Ensure effective response to incidents, hazards and emergencies. Carry out plant inspections Ensure effective maintenance coordination Ensure effective administration Ensure adherence to safety, health and environment standards and procedures Relieve in all positions on the plant
