Job Description
Hire Resolve's client is looking for a Section Engineer to fill a position in Phalaborwa, Limpopo.
Responsibilities
- Driving Maintenance KPIs of permanent employees, contractors and subcontractors to ensure vehicle / equipment availability, reliability and optimization
- Manage overall team management performance
- Financial / Budget Control in terms of Mining Maintenance activities
- Managing of change process regarding any deviations to Maintenance activities and work scope
- Manage the establishment of Engineering standards, specifications, and service levels according to organizational objectives to ensure maximum operational availability
- Implement CI initiatives by keeping abreast of developments and introducing change in work processes where appropriate (Cost reductions and cost avoidances)
- Ensure and Maintain Legal Compliance, Audits, and Governance
- B Eng/BSc/BTech/National Diploma discipline, National Certificate
- Relevant Mechanical or Electrical Trade Certification
- Mines and Works GCC
- 5 years of experience as a Section Engineer, preferably in a plant/opencast environment
- Salary: R1.7M/yr - R1.9M/yr, negotiable
