As a Section Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of mining operations. You will be responsible for overseeing a specific section within the mine, ensuring that all equipment and processes are functioning optimally. With your expertise, you will collaborate with teams to identify operational issues, provide technical solutions, and implement improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the operations of a specific section within the mine.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with teams to identify operational issues and implement appropriate solutions.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs for equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential risks or inefficiencies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
• Optimize processes to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mining, Mechanical, or similar).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Mining Industry.
• Proven track record in managing a section or department within a mine.
• Strong knowledge of mining equipment and operational processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with others.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and risk assessment.
