Yuri Arcurs Productions is in search of some expert wordsmiths to join our Search Editing team!

About the role:

As a Search Editor, you will be responsible for the narrative of an image or video by including unique and creative titles for each file that is jam-packed with trending SEO keywords. As a department, it's our responsibility to make sure our content stands out among everyone else! We're the best for a reason and it's because of what you'll do in the team. You will also attach a list of SEO keywords to each file that's been titled to maximize your target audience reach.

You're the perfect candidate if you have these traits:

You're fluent in English, both written and spoken. You're a bookworm - you love reading in your spare time. You're analytic - you like to see two sides of a coin. You think outside the box - "Nobody puts Baby in a corner" and why should your creativity be put in one too? You're an ambivert/introvert - you like and appreciate your space and enjoy your own company. You're self-motivated - you already know what you want and are not afraid to get it! You're disciplined - Rome wasn't built in a day, but with consistent efforts daily. You're just a tad competitive - you want to do better than you did yesterday and have fun while doing it. You understand how SEO impacts visibility.

Requirements:

Completed degree in Linguistics, Language, or Literature (preferable). 1 year of SEO experience. 1 year of Writing/Content Writing or Copywriting experience with a portfolio piece to showcase. Basic computer skills - Mac products specifically. Able to travel to Cape Town CBD daily.
