Experienced Seamstress Required
An established niche-market garment manufacturing business is seeking a reliable, hardworking
experienced seamstress
to join our team.Requirements:
Must be able to complete a garment from start to finish
Proficient in operating
industrial overlocker
andplain/straight stitch machines
Competent in
cutting from patterns
andironing/finishing garments
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Flexible, willing to learn, and adaptable
Traceable references are essential
Important:
This position is
not suitable for learners or beginners
. Only experienced and serious applicants should apply.Remuneration:
Paid per garment
, with rates based on skill level and efficiencyDuring the first
six months
, the successful candidate will workfrom our studio
while being shown our processes and standardsAfter this period, there is a
possibility of working from home
, subject to performance and reliabilityWhen working from home, the candidate will be required to
collect and deliver completed work
at our studioWorking Hours & Location (to be re-evaluated after first 6 Months):
Monday - Friday | 8:30am - 5:00pm
Lower Claremont / Kenilworth, Cape Town
