Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery and ensure effective implementation of the Scrum framework within cross-functional software development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
- Coach teams to improve Scrum maturity, collaboration, and flow
- Remove impediments and manage blockers to enable delivery
- Administer Scrum boards and report on delivery metrics
- Engage with stakeholders and provide Agile coaching and support
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Scrum Master in IT/software development
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with Agile tools (e.g. Azure DevOps) advantageous
- Banking or Financial Services exposure advantageous
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
- Scrum Master / Agile / DevOps certification
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Highly organized, accountable, and detail-oriented
- Strong time management and ability to perform under pressure
- Ethical, proactive, and team-focused
