Scrum Master-Intermediate (Contract) Cape Town
We are recruiting an experienced Scrum Master - Intermediate Level to support a large-scale Service Management system implementation within a telecommunications environment. The successful candidate will work within a Software Engineering team and contribute to a high-visibility project delivery.
Start Date: 1 December 2025
End Date: 30 April 2026
Location: Bellville, Cape Town (Onsite)
Requirements

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum frameworks, and Agile coaching techniques.
• Experience working with distributed Agile teams (ADM advantage).
• Ability to lead, influence, and build strong working relationships across teams.
• Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Enable the effective functioning of the Software Development Team through Agile methodologies.
• Coach, mentor, and guide Scrum Team(s) to drive performance and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate all Scrum and Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Remove impediments to ensure smooth delivery.
• Identify, track, and communicate progress using relevant Agile metrics.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to maintain clarity, alignment, and transparency.
• Support decision-making across multiple teams and contribute to broader project outcomes.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team culture and facilitate conflict resolution.
• Apply expert knowledge of Scrum, Agile Project Management, and Agile Methods (including distributed agile practices).
