Job Summary Qualifications, Skills and Experience required:
A recognised bookkeeping, finance diploma or accounting degree.
3-5 years' experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within a multi-entity or education environment.
Strong technical accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
High attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to perform under intense pressure and manage competing priorities.
Highly organised, task-driven, and process-oriented.
Customer-centric approach with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and modern financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage financial accounting processes across multiple entities within Group Shared Services.
Prepare, analyse, and review monthly management accounts, reports - ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Support the preparation and monitoring of annual operating and capital budgets.
Track expenditure against budgets, conduct variance analysis and present actionable insights.
Ensure billing accuracy for customers, suppliers, and third-party stakeholders.
Oversee procurement, accounts payable and reconciliation processes.
Manage debtors and collections processes in accordance with company policy.
Prepare and submit CAPEX applications and related reporting.
Deliver timely month-end close and reporting activities in collaboration with campus and head office teams.
Partner with internal finance, operations and academic departments to ensure effective financial control and alignment.
