Purpose: As a Scanning Clerk, your responsibility is to ensure that all promotional advertising is replicated onto the shop floor; pricing displays, signage and check that tills are scanning prices correctly.
Duties and Responsibilities
Co-ordination of the pricing process; check that the correct prices are activated and tills are scanning correctly by conducting test scans
Co-ordination of promotional signage; removes old promotional signage, assist departments with signage by developing signage for displays and in-store promotions
Display correct price labelling, check price tags, make new labels and display labels on shelves.
Conduct daily updates on prices by ensuring the valid prices are scanned and tills ring up correct process.
Conduct regular price checks on promotional items
Requirements:
Grade 12 qualification
1 year of experience in a similar position
