PwC is looking for a SAP Test Lead to join our Cloud & Digital practice on a Fixed Term Contract basis . A SAP Test Lead is overall responsible for the success of the SAP programme (project) testing efforts. This includes quality and testing advocacy, resource planning and management, and the resolution of issues that impede the testing effort.
The ideal candidate would have a strong SAP t echnical background and 5 to 7 years proven experience in testing in SAP cloud technology enabled business transformation projects and programmes .
Qualifications / Certifications

Bachelor equivalent: minimum requirement
5 to 7 years of SAP testing experience ; c onsulting experience beneficial
Hands-on experience in defect logging, tracking, and verifying defects
A thorough understanding of the full software development lifecycle is required.
Cloud experience recommended
SAP Certification beneficial
Proficiency in test management tools
Experience in Agile delivery in SAP projects.
Experience required:
5 to 7 years' experience of testing SAP downstream and upstream systems
Experience in managing and delivering quality testing outcomes for SAP implementation, upgrade or conversion programs, particularly SAP S/4HANA
Experience in designing and implementing test strategies for large SAP programmes , including automation, performance and integration testing
Functional/technical proficiency with at least 2 + full lifecycle SAP implementations
Previous experience in a consulting environment is beneficia l
Exp erience in Agile delivery in SAP projects.
Responsibilities of role:
Develop and sign off on the testing approach and plan
Take overall responsibility for the end-to-end testing scope including function testing, integration testing, stress and performance testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing
Define and manage all activities involved in the end-to-end testing process, including strategy, planning, execution, quality assessment and issue resolution within the context of each test release/delivery
Ensure the appropriate planning , deployment and management of the test resources for each release/delivery
Build and manage internal/external testing teams and advocate the appropriate level of quality
Ensure the delivery of the test phases as per the agreed testing approach and on time, within budget while meeting all quality objectives
Monitor the progress and report the result of test execution (including test effort estimation and monitoring of actual effort)
Ensure the application of appropriate test measurements and metrics
Review test results to ensure that it meets the defined entry and exit criteria
Review external supplier testing and test deliverables
Effectively manage issues, risks and changes related to the test workstream
Participate in programme risk and issue management.
