Our client is seeking an SAP Functional Consultant (Expert).
This role is pivotal in providing cutting-edge IT solutions to global operations while ensuring the seamless integration and management of tax compliance and reporting systems within the Group IT Hub South Africa.

Position Details:
Contract Start Date: 01-03-2026
Contract End Date: 31-12-2028
Location: Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation
Role Group: DevOps
Experience Required: At least 8+ years SAP TAX/FI/BTP experience
Product / Team Context: Provide tools and solutions for tax compliance and direct/indirect tax on group level.
Qualifications & Experience:
At least 8+ years SAP TAX/FI/BTP experience.
Experience working in international teams.
Business process knowledge in Finance area.
Essential Skills:
Design, Development & Implementation: Centralized TAX Cockpit Design, Real-Time compliance (Digital reporting/e-invoicing).
Enhanced integration as business needs and requirements evolve.
Certified app development for accurate determination processes.
Reporting & Analytics: Develop and optimize SAP BTP queries and reports.
Technical Specifications & Documentation: Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into detailed functional and technical specifications.
Experience in ABAP.
System Architectural designing.
Advantageous Skills:

• Java
• Python
• Datasphere
• German speaking will be an advantage.
