SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) Lead Consultant (Contract) South Africa/Remote
We seek an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) Lead Consultant to represent our client's interests during an S/4HANA implementation. The successful candidate will ensure the project follows S/4 best practices and delivers a true S/4 look and feel across the financial landscape.
Contract Details:

• Duration: 12 months initially
• Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
• Opportunity: Potential for renewal after the initial contract based on performance.
• Open to South African citizens only.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent the client and act as the primary liaison between business and implementation partners.
• Oversee the work performed by the external service provider and ensure quality and alignment with project objectives.
• Ensure adherence to SAP S/4 best practices and S/4HANA standards.
• Provide leadership and expertise across key finance areas, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Costing and Reporting.
• Support design validation, testing, and deployment activities.
• Ensure alignment between business requirements and system functionality.

Requirements:

• S/4HANA experience is essential - candidates with ECC-only backgrounds will not be considered.
• Minimum of 5-8 years SAP FICO experience with proven S/4HANA Finance implementation exposure.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end finance processes and integration with other SAP modules.
• Experience in a lead or oversight capacity on SAP projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel nationally (up to 20%) as needed.
