We are seeking a skilled SAP POS Consultant with solid experience in SAP S/4HANA to support and enhance our retail operations, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector. This role involves configuring and maintaining Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, integrating them with S/4HANA modules, and ensuring seamless functionality across retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and deploy SAP POS solutions aligned with retail and pharmaceutical business needs.
Customize POS functionality including pricing, loyalty programs, prescription handling, and promotions.
Integrate POS systems with SAP S/4HANA modules such as MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), and FI (Finance).
Conduct system maintenance, patching, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and performance.
Support store personnel through training, issue resolution, and functional guidance.
Analyze POS data to derive insights for operational efficiency and customer engagement.
Collaborate with IT, operations, and compliance teams to align POS functionality with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience
3-5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP POS Consultant.
Strong background in SAP S/4HANA Retail environments.
Experience working in a retail or pharmaceutical setting is preferred.
Proven track record of POS integration with core SAP modules (MM, SD, FI).
Familiarity with POSDM and real-time data replication tools is a plus.
Technical Skills
Deep understanding of SAP POS and S/4HANA architecture.
Proficiency in system configuration, data flow, and interface management.
Working knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository), and POS hardware/software integration.
Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement technical solutions efficiently.
