Job Overview: As the SAP MDS Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision and roadmap for our SAP MDS system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Master Data Management, a keen understanding of business requirements, and the ability to drive the implementation of MDS features that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Vision:

Develop and communicate the strategic vision for the SAP Master Data Services system.

Be the MEA Product owner for the NTT IT. MDS Product

Create and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business objectives and supports data governance initiatives.

Product design and modelling/testing new and existing solutions

Draft and maintain product specifications documents

Evaluate market trends associated with the particular product or product line.

Provide product knowledge input assistance for compiling client proposals.

Write RFI/RFP responses and bids and obtain vendor product certification for the product portfolio

Analyse customer data to produce recommendations and reports.

Recommend product enhancements and updates to identify new business opportunities

Requirement Definition and Prioritization:

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to define and prioritize Master Data Services requirements.

Analyze and prioritize feature requests, enhancements, and defect resolutions.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with SAP architects, developers, data stewards, and business analysts to ensure the seamless integration of MDS with other SAP modules and business processes.

Foster collaboration and communication across teams to achieve common goals.

Feature Development and Release Planning:

Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value and industry best practices.

Collaborate with development teams to plan and execute releases in alignment with business priorities.

Quality Assurance and Testing:

Define acceptance criteria for user stories and ensure that delivered features meet the specified criteria.

Collaborate with quality assurance teams to develop testing strategies and validate the quality of SAP MDS system releases.

User Training and Support:

Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions for SAP MDS system users.

Provide ongoing support and guidance to end-users, addressing questions and issues related to the SAP MDS system.

What will make you a good fit for the role?

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, Business, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, with a focus on SAP Master Data Services.

In-depth knowledge of SAP Master Data Management concepts, principles, and best practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable tasks.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools.

Certification in SAP or related field is a plus.
