Sap Implementation Specialist

Job Description


To collaborate with relevant Squads to provide input into pre-project planning, defining project scope and suitable methods of implementation which contribute to the successful delivery of projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain credible relationships with stakeholders through professionalism and quality of advice and feedback
  • Ensure understanding of client needs through active participation in project planning meetings and volunteering support during task allocation
  • Respond to customers with the appropriate level of urgency and take ownership in ensuring that customers' expectations are met
  • Support implementation of new processes, systems and policies
  • Work with the SAP Senior Implementation Specialist and SAP Implementation Manager to develop customised Implementation plans based on project requirements
  • Communicate identified system or process issues timeously to the Testing Team and relevant Squad
  • Actively share knowledge and learnings within the team
  • Prepare training documentation (SAP Process Procedures), communications and SAP updates for affected Users
  • Communicate changes/updates to affected Users by way of facilitated sessions, e-mails or other methods, as determined by the project plan
  • Facilitate and record User sessions for project related changes (where appropriate) and publish them on the website for reference
  • Prepare, distribute and publish communications relating to urgent system issues/requirements on behalf of Shared Services and SAP CCoE
  • Publish documentation, project communications and User session recordings on a central website
  • Provide timeous and effective post Go-live Project support to clients
  • Market the website to create awareness and ensure that it is easily accessible by relevant Users
  • Maintain the website to ensure that it is continually up to date and is of a professional standard
  • Plan, prioritise and manage own work and time to achieve project deliverables
  • Continually develop core skills, cross functional expertise and business knowledge
  • Understand and embrace the Nedbank vision and demonstrate the values through interaction with team and stakeholders
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred Qualification

BCom / BA / IT

Minimum Experience Level

3 - 6 years

SAP System Knowledge; Writing and Presentation skills; Collaboration and Building relationships; Business Acumen
