SAP Finance (FICO) Implementation Consultant - Stellenbosch.

A well establish international software development company is looking for a SAP Finance (FICO) Implementation Consultant to join their team on 12-month fixed term contract.



This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to be in office 4 days a week and 1 day working remotely at home.



Excellent salary on offer. R60 000 - R100 000 (subject to background and experience).

Position Overview

:



We are seeking experienced SAP Finance resources to support the implementation of SAP Finance

solutions as part of a major SAP programme.



The role will focus on the design, configuration, and

deployment of SAP FICO modules, ensuring alignment with business finance processes and statutory

requirements.

Key Responsibilities

:


Lead or support the end-to-end implementation of SAP Finance (FICO), from blueprint through to go-live and hypercare Gather, analyse, and document finance business requirements Configure SAP FICO modules including: + General Ledger (FI-GL)
+ Accounts Payable (FI-AP)
+ Accounts Receivable (FI-AR)
+ Asset Accounting (FI-AA)
+ Controlling (CO) components such as Cost Centre Accounting and Profitability Analysis (as applicable)
Collaborate with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical SAP resources Support data migration, integration testing, UAT, and cutover activities Provide knowledge transfer, documentation, and user training Identify and resolve system issues, risks, and dependencies Ensure solutions comply with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements

Required Skills & Experience

:


Proven hands-on experience in SAP FICO implementation projects Strong knowledge of SAP Finance processes and configuration Experience working across the full SAP implementation lifecycle Ability to translate finance business requirements into SAP solutions Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience working in structured project environments (e.g. Agile or Waterfall)

Qualifications (Compulsory)

:


SAP FICO certification or demonstrable equivalent SAP FICO implementation experience Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)

Desirable Skills

:


Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance Exposure to integrations with other SAP modules (MM, SD, HR, etc.) Experience in data migration tools and financial reporting Prior experience in large, complex or multi-country SAP programmes
