SAP EWM Consultant (S/4HANA & DevOps) (Senior) (Contract) - Gauteng/Hybrid - ISB423409
Our client is seeking a SAP EWM Technical Consultant (Senior).
This role is pivotal in providing cutting-edge IT solutions to global operations while ensuring the seamless integration and management of SAP EWM technologies within the Group IT Hub.

Position Details:

• Contract Duration: 01 February 2026 31 December 2028
• Commencement Date: 01 February 2026
• Location: Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation
• Role Group: DevOps
• Experience Required: 4 6 years of SAP EWM experience with S/4HANA certification.

Product / Team Context: The product team is a core part of the "PKT 2025" strategic initiative, focused on documenting defects and identifying root causes for global shop-floor and quality management. You will play a vital role in re-implementing and improving the current STARD template into its successor, PROTON, while supporting the OrCAn application for the production network.
Qualifications & Experience:

• IT Degree or relevant professional qualification
• 4 to 6 years of SAP EWM experience
• SAP EWM Certified on S/4HANA (Mandatory)

Essential Skills & Technologies:

• Core SAP EWM: Expert configuration of EWM modules, S/4HANA operational consultancy, and deep understanding of Extended Warehouse Management processes.
• Technical Integration: Proficiency with BAPIs, SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration, and SAP-HCM-Personnel Administration.
• Testing & Quality: Extensive experience in Unit, Integration, and System Integration security testing.
• Support: Ability to analyze and solve complex module issues and maintain all functional documentation.

Advantageous Skills:

• S/4HANA Operations: Advanced troubleshooting of EWM queues and monitoring via Warehouse Monitor.
• Delivery Management: Experience managing deliverables within a multi-national organizational structure.
• ABAP Knowledge: Debugging skills and Workbench-related knowledge for new developments or enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Blueprinting: Translate business requirements into AS-IS and TO-BE documentation and secure user sign-off on Business Blueprints.
• System Configuration: Set up organizational structures (Materials Management, Plants, Warehouse structures) and execute required configuration changes.
• Production Support: Manage tickets and tasks within defined SLAs, troubleshooting system issues and resolving production support calls.
• Change Management: Raise Change Requests (CRs), write detailed Functional Specifications, and prepare/test data for CR implementation.
• Testing: Carry out regression testing and ensure all user interface transactional solutions meet quality standards.
