Responsible for setup and installation of technical systems, applications, or process designs for clientxe2x80x99s purchased or outsourced technology and business process solutions.

Works directly with the client to manage initial access, map and transfer data, create process documentation, and train or coordinate training for client users.

Tests and troubleshoots functionality of installed systems; identifies and documents technical issues to be escalated to product and system integration teams for resolution.

Provides feedback based on client experiences to product and professional services teams for product and process improvements.

May work directly with clients on-site or provide installation support remotely.

The SAP CPI (SAP Cloud Platform Integration) consultant brings expertise in implementing and managing integration solutions using the SAP CPI platform. SAP CPI is a cloud-based integration platform that allows organizations to connect and integrate their various systems, applications, and data sources.

What will make you a good fit for the role?

Key Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • System Integration: Designing and implementing integration solutions to connect different systems and applications within an organization. This involves understanding the integration requirements, mapping data flows, and configuring the necessary connectors and adapters in SAP CPI.
  • Experience in integrating SuccessFactors and C4C with on-prem systems is a must.
  • Solution Design: Collaborating with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and designing integration solutions that meet the organization's needs. This includes creating integration patterns, defining message mappings, and configuring data transformations in SAP CPI.
  • Development and Configuration: Implementing integration scenarios in SAP CPI by configuring integration flows, message mappings, and data transformations. Writing and maintaining integration artifacts using the SAP CPI's graphical mapping and scripting capabilities.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Conducting testing and debugging activities to ensure the correctness and reliability of the integration solutions. Identifying and resolving integration issues, monitoring integration performance, and optimizing integration processes.
  • Technical Support: Providing technical support and guidance to users and stakeholders during the implementation and post-implementation phases. Assisting with troubleshooting, resolving issues, and providing training and documentation as needed.
  • Integration Governance: Ensuring compliance with integration governance standards and best practices. Developing and maintaining integration documentation, guidelines, and standards. Participating in the governance processes for integration projects and ensuring adherence to security and data privacy requirements.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Working closely with business users, IT teams, and external partners to understand integration requirements and expectations. Collaborating with different teams to coordinate integration
  • activities, resolve dependencies, and ensure successful integration outcomes.
  • Continuous Learning and Skill Development: Staying updated with the latest features, capabilities, and best practices related to SAP CPI. Continuously enhancing technical skills and knowledge through self-learning, training, and certifications.
  • In summary, an SAP CPI consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing integration solutions using the SAP CPI platform. They collaborate with stakeholders, configure integration flows, conduct testing and troubleshooting, provide technical support, and ensure compliance with integration standards and governance.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is often preferred.

SAP certification preferred.
