EXPERIENCE: 4-6 Years related working experience
COMMENCEMENT: 01 May 2025
LOCATION: Hybrid: Midrand/Menlyn/Home Office Rotation
Qualifications / Experience
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field
Any ABAP / SAP / HANA certification is a bonus
Essential Skills Requirements
SAP ABAP skills with a focus on HR / Payroll
Knowledge of modern integration technologies (HTTP/Client, ODATA/Webservices)
Exposure to Agile methodologies and routine use of JIRA / xRay / Confluence
Eagerness to learn new technologies
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication with HR teams and stakeholders
Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
Advantageous Skills Requirements
Proficiency in SAP HCM (H4S4), especially HR/PY data model
Experience with HANA databases
Exposure to SAP UI5 / HTML5 / Fiori
JAVA / C++ experience
Knowledge of classic integration (Flat files, IDocs)
Familiarity with SAP Script, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms
Role Requirements
Debug and troubleshoot ABAP code, resolving performance issues
Develop programs, function modules, and reports per functional specs
Enhance standard SAP using User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancements
Create interfaces via ODATA, ALE, file-based and other technologies
Design UI elements with SAP GUI, Web-Dynpro, UI5/Fiori
Ensure clean, efficient, and maintainable code
Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders
Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Create, execute, and document unit test cases in JIRA
Produce required documentation (e.g., interface specs)
Follow the group's agile working methodology
Manage stakeholder queries professionally and promptly
