. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing key customer accounts, and driving revenue growth while ensuring accurate use of sales systems and close coordination with Operations.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Identify and secure new business opportunities within the bus hire and transport market
Promote and sell bus hire solutions to corporate, municipal, schools, and private clients
Prepare, present, and follow up on quotations and proposals
Achieve agreed sales targets and revenue objectives
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
Manage key and contract customers, including Municipal and large corporate clients
Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
Systems & Sales Administration
Capture leads, quotations, bookings, and customer details on the CRM or sales system
Ensure accuracy of pricing, booking details, and order numbers
Monitor outstanding quotations, bookings, and customer payments
Operational Coordination
Liaise with Operations to confirm vehicle availability, schedules, routes, and special requirements
Ensure smooth handover of confirmed bookings to Operations and Support teams
Proactively manage booking changes, cancellations, or service challenges
Market Awareness
Maintain knowledge of transport regulations, fleet capabilities, and routes
Monitor competitor activity and provide market feedback to management
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
Grade 12 (Matric) -
Essential
Sales, Marketing, or Transport-related qualification -
Advantageous
Experience
Minimum
3-5 years' sales experience
in the
transport, logistics, or bus hire industry
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Experience dealing with
Municipalities or corporate clients
is an advantage
Systems & Skills
Experience using
CRM systems
, booking platforms, or transport/sales systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills
