Job Summary

A reputable company requires a Sales Support Officer who will be based in Durban.

Key Duties:

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

Capture quotes into GQS and respond to customers timeously

Capture Bookings across all ports (including transhipment)

Capture bills of lading

Invoice customers and collection of freight

Manifest submission to respective authorities

Import/Delivery order releases via EDI portal and manual
Arrange Import and Export Surveyxe2x80x99s
Arrange cargo re-measurements

Follow-up and support on vessel/cargo operations - communication with customers

A member of the Key & Liner Sales Support team and Inside Sales (business generation).
Actively participate in business generation and retention supporting overall profitability and that of the operating companies.
Optimal commercial coverage and customers reach within responsible markets.
Follow up on performance targets (KPIxe2x80x99s) ensuring high quality customer service and targeted/focused business generation.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric

Relevant shipping, transportation or logistics industry experience

Results and growth driven.

Flexible, adaptable and collaborative- ability to foster an agile working environment.
