Hands-On Service & Sales Opportunity | Northern Cape Mining Sector
Are you a technically skilled professional with a passion for both hands-on service and sales? This is your opportunity to join a leading player in hydraulic drive systems, supporting a well-established customer base in the Northern Cape's mining sector.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver on-site service, fault-finding, and technical support for hydraulic drive systems and related equipment.
Promote and sell aftermarket products, spare parts, service agreements, and system upgrades.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the mining industry.
Prepare and follow up on quotes, tenders, and proposals to close sales.
Maintain accurate records of site visits, service work, and sales activities.
Identify customer needs and opportunities for process or equipment improvements.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards.
Requirements
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in hydraulics, gearboxes, drive systems, motors, pumps, valves, fittings, hoses, or transmissions.
Trade-qualified Fitter & Turner, Millwright, or Mechanical Engineer.
Solid understanding of hydraulic systems; basic knowledge of electrical/PLC systems is a plus.
Experience in either a service-focused or sales-focused role -- ideally both.
Self-driven and confident working independently in the Kuruman/Northern Cape region.
Comfortable working from home and managing a territory with autonomy.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the area.
