Job Description
Our client based in Midrand is looking for a Sales Representative/Estimator to join their growing team. The company is a Painting company, and a successful incumbent should have vast experience in the Painting industry.
Responsibilities:
- Estimating and measuring painting jobs
- Establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with current and prospective clients in the assigned territory.
- Maximising customer facing time by method of electronic communication, in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Researching and analysing sources to develop prospective customers, whilst determining their buying potential and value to the organisation.
- Keeping abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends.
- Developing clear and effective written proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers.
- Expediting the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Coordinating sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
- Identifying advantages and comparing the organisationxe2x80x99s products and services with those of competitors.
- Minimum 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in the Painting industry
- Minimum 2 yearsxe2x80x99 sales experience
- Experience in job estimation
- Matric
- R10 000 - R13 000 Basic Salary per month
- 5-10% commission on gross profit
- R3000 Petrol allowance
- Cell phone allowance
