Sales Representative - South Africa (Outbound & Inbound)

is an award-winning travel-tech startup on a mission to simplify and secure key handovers worldwide. Our network includes thousands of partner locations where hosts, property managers, and service providers can safely store and collect keys at their convenience.
As a global partner of Airbnb, we've successfully facilitated over 1,000,000 guest check-ins across more than 500 cities worldwide, and we're continuing to expand. Our team is central to driving this growth, and we're now looking for a dynamic sales professional to help us scale.
The Role
We are seeking a motivated
Sales Representative based in South Africa
who will support our expansion by managing both inbound and outbound sales activities (approx 50/50 time split). Responsibilities include:
Inbound Sales & Customer Engagement
Respond promptly and professionally to inbound inquiries from hosts, property managers, and businesses interested in our key locker solution.
Provide accurate product information, pricing, and guidance to prospective customers.
Qualify inbound leads, assess customer needs, and recommend the most suitable KeyNest solutions.
Outbound Sales & Growth Activities
Conduct outbound cold calls and outreach to potential customers to introduce and promote our products.
Maintain a pipeline of warm and cold leads, following up consistently to maximise conversion.
Assist in arranging product demos, calls, and meetings for prospective clients.
General Responsibilities
Maintain strong product knowledge to confidently explain features, benefits, and pricing.
Work closely with colleagues across global teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers.
Track and update leads in our CRM, ensuring timely follow-ups and clear communication.
Meet personal and team targets in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Who We Are Looking For
Based in South Africa with excellent written and spoken English
Strong communication skills with a friendly, confident, and engaging personality.
Comfortable handling both inbound inquiries and proactive outreach.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple leads at once.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work well independently and within a team.
Comfortable working in a fast-moving tech environment.
Flexibility to work hours that align with international teams in particular America, including occasional evening availability.
