Position Available: Sales Representative (FMCG - Ice Cream Sector and the likes)

Location: Western Cape - Cape Town| Full-Time | Driver's License Required

We are a well-established and growing ice cream and like products manufacturing company seeking a motivated and responsible Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is ambitious, eager to grow, and willing to build a long-term career in the FMCG sector.

You will begin with a limited portfolio of existing clients within your assigned region and will be expected to grow your customer base, increase basket with existing customers and sales volumes over time. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who thrives on performance and results.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, maintain relationships and grow with assigned customers Actively source and secure new business opportunities in your region Increase sales volume and product variety within existing accounts Ensure timely communication, service, and customer satisfaction Submit weekly progress reports and market feedback Manage any company owned equipment at customers Arrange and manage other related items e.g. promotions

Requirements:

Minimum Matric qualification Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as customer service skills Highly self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently Sales experience in FMCG or cold chain distribution is an advantage but not required Must be comfortable working across diverse retail environments Profession and presentable to customers as you will be a face of the company

Remuneration Package:

Base Salary:

R6,500 - R9,000/month, based on experience and suitability
Base salary is intended to cover certain basic costs such as fuel, phone and other vehicle expenses. As well as being a generic base salary.

Incentives:

Bonus for each new customer that places multiple qualifying orders Quarterly commission payouts based on total sales performance and customer portfolio growth Additional bonuses for increasing average order size and product penetration in accounts will also be reviewed
Incentives, basic and KPI's will be discussed in depth on successful acceptance of job as the above is just an indication.
