Dick & Allsop Mica is looking for a motivated and customer-focused
Sales Assistant
to join our team! If you're passionate about hardware, enjoy helping customers find the right products, and thrive in a busy retail environment, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers with product enquiries, recommendations, and purchases Maintain excellent product knowledge across hardware, paint, tools, electrical, plumbing, and DIY categories Ensure shelves are well-stocked, clean, and merchandised Process sales accurately and efficiently Handle customer returns, exchanges, and general after-sales service Support the team with stock counts and receiving stock Deliver friendly, professional customer service at all times
Requirements:
1-2 years proven hardware retail or hardware sales experience
(essential) Strong product knowledge in hardware categories Excellent communication and customer service skills Honest, reliable, and able to work well in a team Ability to work retail hours, including weekends when required Attention to detail and willingness to learnJob Type: Full-time
