Job Description

Sales & Revenue Growth



Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the trauma product portfolio (plates, screws, nails, external fixation systems, etc.).



Execute territory business plans and implement strategies aligned with national sales objectives.



Identify and penetrate new accounts while expanding sales within existing customer base.



Conduct sales calls, cold calls, and client meetings in line with call cycle objectives.



Manage the entire sales process from prospecting, negotiation, to closing deals.



Product and Clinical Support



Provide in-theatre support during trauma surgeries - ensuring accurate implant selection, correct instrument handling, and troubleshooting.



Act as the product expert for trauma implants and instruments - advising surgical teams pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.



Conduct clinical product training for hospital staff, theatre nurses, and sales distributors.



Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams based on clinical experiences and surgeon preferences.



Key Account and Stakeholder Management



Establish strong professional relationships with Orthopaedic Surgeons, Theatre Managers, Procurement Officers, and KOLs.



Develop account plans and strategies to increase the company's footprint within key hospitals (both private and public sectors).



Maintain high standards of customer service through timely follow-ups, efficient problem-solving, and post-sales support.



Market Development & Intelligence



Gather competitor intelligence and report on trends, pricing, market movements, and surgeon preferences.



Participate in workshops, congresses, and clinical conferences to promote the company's trauma solutions and expand brand visibility.



Identify product gaps, surgeon needs, and collaborate with internal teams for custom or innovative solutions.



Administration & Reporting



Maintain up-to-date records of activities, sales pipeline, client visits, and support cases using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, etc.).



Provide timely reports on territory performance, challenges, opportunities, and forecasting data.



Ensure compliance with the company's sales policies, company procedures, and ethical standards at all times.



Qualifications & Experience



Bachelor's degree or diploma in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or equivalent medical/healthcare qualification (preferred)



Minimum 3-5 years of successful sales experience in the medical devices sector, specifically in Orthopaedics - Trauma



Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a clinical environment.



Theatre experience with exposure to hip and knee arthroplasty procedures is essential.



Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SAP).



Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle.



Willingness to travel within the assigned region and work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends (depending on surgical schedules).
